Revitalization of the Nuremberg Volksbad

After more than 30 years of vacancy, the Nuremberg Volksbad is undergoing a comprehensive revitalization to be reborn as a modern "cathedral of bathing." My photographic work documents this process in two distinct phases: The foundation was laid by a detailed survey between 2010 and 2015, capturing the building's authentic state of decay. Since the beginning of 2026, I have been documenting the project once again, recording the complex renovation and the transformation of its historical structure.
