Kongresshalle
Congress Hall Nuremberg – Between Monument and New Beginning
The Congress Hall in Nuremberg is one of the most monumental relics of National Socialist architecture – and at the same time a place in transition. In my long-term photographic project, I document both the existing structure and the transformation of the site: the construction of the new Nuremberg concert hall and the renovation of the Congress Hall itself.
Between ideology cast in stone and contemporary reuse, a compelling dialogue unfolds between past, present, and future – both architecturally and socially. My focus lies on the visible traces of history, intervention, and change.
