HALFTIME

In 2019, I had the privilege of photographically capturing the Halftime building on the Adidas Campus in Herzogenaurach. This architectural marvel, known for its unusually large roof construction, is the result of a fruitful collaboration between Knippers Helbig and the COBE architecture firm from Copenhagen. The vision was to create a space that unites employees and visitors, representing the Adidas brand. My assignment was to capture the uniqueness and multifunctionality of this impressive building. During my work, I documented how the building, through its clear orientation and the harmonious integration of light and structure, creates an atmosphere of openness and closure simultaneously. My photos show how the building, with its innovative structure and use of precast concrete, is not only aesthetically appealing but also functional. My images capture the essence of the Halftime building, which is much more than just a shell, but a symbol of the strong structure and unique culture of Adidas.
